Opti'How it works
Opti' counts your work in productions: generating a deliverable with a tool (terms of reference, questionnaire, focus group, analysis or report) uses one unit. Paid plans include some every month. Challenges are the other way to get them, for free.
It works in three steps: each challenge you complete earns points; points add up and raise your level; each level you reach credits its reward of units to your account, once. Nothing is lost along the way: points never go down, and a reward you receive stays yours.

Your streak: up to +50%
Coming back every day builds a streak. From the second day in a row, every point you earn is increased by 5% per day of streak, up to +50 % from the eleventh day.
With a 6-day streak, for example, the daily sign-in earns 13 points instead of 10 (rounded up to the next point). A day without points resets the streak, but takes nothing away: your points and your level stay yours.
The ten levels and their rewards
Each level has its points threshold and its reward, credited once, when you reach the level. Levels stop at the tenth.

In total, the ten levels give 14 units: 4 questionnaires, 4 reports, 2 ToR, 2 focus groups and 2 analyses.
What a free unit is worth
A free unit is worth a purchased one: it lets you generate the deliverable with the tool shown, then take it with you (export, sending to KoboToolbox, sharing link), even without a subscription. It is the only way to get a complete deliverable without paying, and you earn it.
Free units do not expire at the end of the month. When you generate, Opti' first uses what expires soonest, the units of your plan, then your free units. A free questionnaire is built in Opti Gemba, like any other.
Where to follow your progress
On the app's home screen, the level bar shows your points, the next threshold and the reward that comes with it. Clicking that reward opens the levels window: the ten levels, the ones you have reached, where you stand, and your streak bonus.
If you have turned on notifications, Opti' can also let you know when the next reward is only a few points away, or in the evening when a streak of three days or more is about to drop.
Frequently asked questions
Do points have a cash value?
No. Points cannot be bought, sold or exchanged. They do one thing only: unlock the level rewards, and each reward is credited only once.
Do I need a subscription to complete challenges?
No. Challenges and levels are open to every account, including the Demo plan. A free reward can be generated and taken with you without a subscription: export, sending to KoboToolbox or sharing link.
What happens if I miss a day?
Your streak drops and its bonus starts again from zero at your next challenge. Your points and your level do not move: nothing you have earned is lost. Days are counted in universal time (UTC).
How long does it take to get a free questionnaire?
The questionnaire is the level 3 reward, at 250 points. The one-time challenges are worth 120, and a day of challenges up to 60 before the streak bonus: if you complete them all, you get it within a few days.
